ROCKY BOY Clarence Morsette, 80, died Friday, April 21, 2000 at a Havre care center of natural causes.
Wake was Friday and funeral services were Saturday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church at Rocky Boy, with burial in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.
Morsette was born Feb. 22, 1920 at Rocky Boy to John and Elizabeth (Guay) Morsette. He was raised and educated at Rocky Boy and attended Northern Montana College to learn the electrical trade. Morsette worked as an electrician on commercial buildings and in the construction business.
Morsette married Irene M. Sangrey on April 29, 1944 at Havre. She died April 20, 1995.
Morsette enjoyed mowing lawns, playing solitaire and working with wood and finishing fine wood items.
Survivors include his daughters, Clarice Monteau of Whiteriver, Ariz., Marilyn Sutherland, Marcia McDowell and Lizabeth Morsette all of Rocky Boy; sons, Alan Morsette of Redding, Calif., Carl Morsette of Rocky Boy; sisters, Alvina Birdtail of Harlem, Florence McDowell of Paramount, Calif., Delores Flesche of Boise, Idaho; 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
