They were ousted by the Class B, but rebounded to thump the Class AA at the Havre Summer Classic held at the Havre High School gymnasium during the weekend.
The Havre Blue Ponies girls' basketball team finished the tournament 4-1 overall.
Havre opened the tournament with an early-morning loss to Fort Benton 48-43 on Saturday.
The Ponies went on to defeat Class B Malta, 46-44. They closed the day with a 69-30 rout over Class B Glasgow.
On Sunday, Havre opened the day with a 52-26 win over Class B Chinook.
They went on to hand Class AA C.M. Russell a 55-43 loss. The Rustlers came into the game on a four-game winning streak. Both teams finished the tournament with one loss.
The Ponies will be competing in a 64-team tournament at Cheney, Wash., this weekend.
