Landen Grant, a 2000 graduate of Havre High School, has signed an NAIA national letter of intent to play basketball for the Great Falls Argonauts men's team.
"Intense and competitive best describe this hard-nosed player," Mike Geniesse, head coach, said. "Because of his work ethic and commitment to the game, Landen has tremendous potential as a player in the Frontier Conference."
Grant, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 10.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game as a senior. He averaged 48 percent shooting from the field.
He finished his final season as a Blue Pony ranked fifth in the Central A in rebounding. He led the Ponies with 187 boards on the season.
Grant was named to the second team all-tournament team at divisional and earned second team all-conference honors.
The Argos in Great Falls are bringing men's and women's basketball back to the campus after an absence of 15 years.
