Randy K. Randolph has returned to Havre to hang up his shingle.
Randolph graduated from the University of Montana Law School with a juris doctor degree in 1999. He said he found out last September he had passed the three-day state bar exam, which he took in July. After working in Missoula and at Rocky Boy, he returned home to Havre to set up his general law practice last week.
"It's good. What I wanted to do," he said. "I didn't want to stay around there."
Randolph said the experience he has had before coming back to Havre has been good for opening a general law practice.
"I do just about everything," he said. "I worked for a couple of practitioners before, and that's what they did, just about everything."
Randolph worked for Mark Jones, Attorney at Law, and for the Associated Students of the University of Montana, both in Missoula, and at Rocky Boy as a court administrator before opening his own practice.
The areas Randolph will cover in his practice include personal injury, wrongful death, family law, tax law, business law, criminal defense, Indian law, trials, estate, probate and debtor harassment.
Randolph's new office is located in room 210 on the second floor of the Heritage Center.
