The Havre Comets dropped two games to the Medicine Hat Knights Saturday afternoon at Legion Field.
In game one, the Knights jumped on the Comets early. Greg Elgie's triple scored Skyler Stromsmoe and A. J. Howes which capped off a three-run third inning, giving the Knights a 5-0 lead.
The Comets added one run when Mike Mereness, with help from a Knights error, scored off the bat of Kevin Jurenka. But it was too late for the Comets as they lost game one, 7-1.
In game two, the Comets had a nine-run lead in the bottom of the fifth inning, 11-2. But, in the top of the sixth inning, the Knights exploded for seven runs on four hits to cut the Comets' lead to two runs.
The Knights were not done, as every Knight batter crossed home plate in the top of the seventh inning. This not only completed the comeback for the Knights, but also buried the Comets, 20-11.
The Comets' next home game will be July 12, at 6 p.m. against the Northstars.
