ALDEN WERK

HAYS-LODGEPOLE Alden Nicholas "Nick" Werk, 16, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000 in an automobile accident three miles south of Fort Belknap.

Wake/rosary will be 7 p.m. today at the Chief Nosey Center at Lodgepole. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chief Nosey Center with burial in the Big Warm Cemetery.

Werk was born Dec. 25, 1983 at Fort Belknap to Warren A. Werk Sr. and Judy Has Eagle. He attended the Hays/Lodgepole High School where he was going to be a junior.

Werk enjoyed playing basketball and baseball, hunting, fishing, swimming and being with his friends. He enjoyed babysitting his cousins.

Werk was a very special grandson to his grandmothers, Darlene Parisian and Gertrude Werk. He stayed with them most of the time and helped them.

Werk was preceded in death by his sister, Raelynne Werk, and grandfathers, Joe Parisian and Clyde Werk Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Warren A. Werk Sr. and Judy Has Eagle of Hays; sister, Alicia Werk of Hays; brothers Warren A. Werk Jr. and Patrick Werk of Hays/Lodgepole; grandmothers, Darlene Parisian of Lodgepole and Gertrude Werk of Hays; great grandmother, Mildred Christenson of Hays; godparents, Kenny Wing of Lodgepole, Marlene Werk of Dry Lake (near Hays/Lodgepole).

Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
