The Northern Skylights volleyball team gave fans a preview of the up coming team with the Maroon and Gold Scrimmage.
The Skylights won more games last year than they had in the last three years combined, and look to continue forward in the 2000 season.
The Marron team consisting of Josey Walterskirchen (FR), Andrea Knox (FR), Gabriella Chambliss (JR), Emmy Olson (FR), Sarah Bruce (FR), Lyndi Hostetter (JR), and senior Heather Hammonds, took game one 15-11 over the Gold.
Gold team members Mitsu Frazier (FR), Jennifer Derr (FR), Hannah Nutting (FR), Janelle Gillies (JR), Lexy Ranes (FR), Tanja Bruski, and Senior Connie Fritz-Becker, made things close in game two but fell short 15-13.
And in game three it was the Maroon team finishing off the gold 15-11. The Skylights are coached by second year head coach Lisa Handley.
