This is a busy week, homecoming week, at Havre High School.
With two basketball games, the football game and the cross country invitational as well as special activities through the week, students at the school will have plenty to do.
We hope that they all have fun this week, and have good luck in the competitions.
Homecoming is a crystallization of the pride and spirit the students and the community all have in our schools. For a week, that pride, which is always present, is just a little more visible.
For Montana, the Hi-Line and Havre, pride in the local schools is fact of life. We applaud the pride and support the community shows for the students, and that the students show for the schools.
It all comes together in a symbol of the pride people have in the kids of the community, and in the pride the kids have in themselves and in each other.
The week has been well-planned for activities, from the crowning of the king and queen to barbecues and softball games to the homecoming dance wrapping up the celebration Saturday night.
Show your pride and spirit this week, support your teams and have fun.
So good luck this week, Havre High Blue Ponies. May your games all go well, and may your activities be fun and safe.
