There will be a Grand Opening Celebration at the new location of the Havre Sears store in the Holiday Village Shopping Center Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"A good time will be had by all," said Mark Nivens, who owns and operates the Sears authorized dealer store with his wife, Peggy.
There will be a number of tools on sale for half-price from 9 a.m. to noon, drawings for a 2 piece Craftsman tool chest, a 19 inch television, a vacuum cleaner and a $100 shopping spree.
"And free goodies for the first 200 people through the door," Nivens said.
Coffee, juice and cookies will be served at the event.
Nivens said they have their fourth quarter Christmas merchandise out. He invited everyone in to see their new location and selection of merchandise.
Sears moved from their downtown location on Third Avenue to the east wing of the Holiday Village in July. The store re-opened in its new location on July 25.
The store has a wider, more open showroom than the previous location, and is carrying about 50 new tool selections, and quite a few new DVD items as well, in the new location.
