HOPE LUNDEEN

HARLEM Hope L. Lundeen, 81, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000 at a Havre hospital due to natural causes.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Harlem American Lutheran Church with burial following in Harlem Cemetery.

Lundeen was born Aug. 20, 1919 in Billings to Ed and Pearl Klissee. She attended schools in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School.

She married A.J. Besaw in 1937 in Great Falls. He died in 1962. She moved to Harlem in 1970 and married Leonard Lundeen in Havre on Oct. 12, 1973.

In the 1960s, Lundeen worked as a receptionist for two doctors in Great Falls. In the 1970s and early '80s, she worked at Don't Pharmacy in Harlem before retiring.

Lundeen enjoyed gardening, flowers and house painting. She was active in the American Lutheran Church.

Lundeen's husband, Leonard, died July 1, 2000 and she moved into a Chinook apartment on Sept. 15.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, two brothers, one grandchild and one son-in-law.

Survivors include her daughters, Madge Waritz of Chinook and Marilyn Woodruff of Nevada; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to the American Lutheran Church.
