LORRAINE PARSONS
Lorraine Parsons, 74, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000 in a Chinook nursing home after an extended illness.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel. A luncheon will be served following the service at the VFW Club in Havre.
Parsons was born in New Ulm, Minn. on Jan. 13, 1926 to Emil and Florence Peterson.
Parsons attended schools and graduated high school in St. Peter, Minn.
On Dec. 16, 1944, she married Clayton Parsons in St. Peter. The couple moved to Havre on Dec. 18, 1944.
Parsons enjoyed knitting and making craft projects. Her greatest joys in life were her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton Parsons of Havre; sons, Steve Parsons of Chinook, Gary Parsons of Minneapolis, Minn. and David Parsons of Missoula; daughters, Janet Bauer of Littleton, Colo. and Carol Habeger of Havre; six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook or to a person's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
