Sen. Jon Tester, D. Big Sandy, will hold a series of public meetings to gather information from the public on issues and concerns they would like to see addressed by the up-coming legislative session.
The meeting will also be an opportunity for area residents to ask questions as well as talk about what's on their minds, Tester said.
Tester said that approximately 600 bills have already been introduced for consideration by the legislature.
Tester has invited Sen. Greg Jergeson D. Chinook and Rep. John Witt of Fort Benton to join him in the meetings.
Meeting imes and dates are:
Monday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m., at the Fort Benton City Hall,
Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m., in the old depot at Geraldine,
Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Highwood Bar in Highwood,
Thursday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Big Sandy City Hall,
Monday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. at Spud's Cafe in Chester,
Monday, Nov. 13, at 12:30 p.m. at the Rudyard Senior Center,
Monday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Havre City Council Chambers.
All the meetings are open to the public.
