Schweitzer here Sunday

By Ron VandenBoom

Brian Schweitzer, Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, will be in Havre Sunday, Oct. 29. Campaign aids say this will probably be the last opportunity for local supporters and the public to meet the candidate before the Nov. 7 election.

Schweitzer will be available to meet with the pubic and his campaign supporters from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Park Restaurant in Havre.

The campaign stop is part of a campaign blitz that also includes a stop in Malta on Saturday to attend the Malta High School football game in the afternoon and a stop at Stretch's Pizza for a pep-rally at about 3:30 p.m.

Schweitzer will be traveling from Havre to brief stops in Hingham, Inverness, Rudyard, Gildford, and Joplin before stopping to attend the annual Democratic Dinner in Chester from 2-4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. He heads to Shelby after the Chester dinner.
