The Chester Coyotes and Sunburst Refiners are currently unscathed in District 5C volleyball action.
Chester (3-0, 3-0) most recently beat Rocky Boy 15-4, 15-0, 15-3 in conference play.
Chester's guns include Carlane Jensen, Michele Van Dyke, Jamie Graham, and Heidi Cicon.
Devan Lalum, Megan Mattson, Julie Martin, Trisha Hilton, Chasi Buffingtron, and Katy Engstrom also bring some veteran experience to the team.
Sunburst (2-0, 2-0) defeated KG on Monday en route to its last win.
The Big Sandy Pioneers (2-1, 2-1) are third in the league, behind the forces of seniors Jessica Curl, Tamara Davis, and Eryn Darlington. They will face the Coyotes at Chester on Friday, Jan. 14.
The Box Elder Bears (1-1, 1-1) were defeated by Chester 15-0, 15-0, 15-1 last week.
Blue Sky, KG, J-I, and Rocky Boy round out the league. Each of the teams has a sub-.500 record.
