The Blue Sky Eagles stormed the Big Sandy Pioneers 82-33 in District 9C basketball action Thursday at Rudyard.
Brent Petrick scored a game-high 14 points and led four Eagles in double figures in the win.
Brandon Anderson and David Jurenka scored 12 points apiece and Tyler Hutchinson added 11 for Blue Sky, who improved to 3-2, 6-4 on the season.
Jackson Burke popped two 3-pointers and Chris Yirsa added one to keep the Pioneers in the game in the first quarter.
However, the Eagles exploded for 26 second-quarter points en route to a 44-17 halftime lead.
Every Eagle scored, with Jack McKinley and Ryan Schnitzmeir adding nine points apiece in the contest.
Daniel Weaver led the Pioneer attack with 10 points. Burke finished with nine, and Yirsa added eight in the effort.
Big Sandy slipped to 0-5, 0-10 on the season, and meet the J-I Rams in non-conference action Saturday.
J-I won the last matchup, 69-35.
Blue Sky will host district leader KG on Saturday in conference action.
When the teams met earlier this season, KG won the game, 52-49.
