With the first round of the State Class A wrestling tournament just one day away, the Havre Blue Ponies are ranked No. 2 in the last Class A coaches wrestling poll.
Columbia Falls is ranked No. 1 in the poll.
Nick Holt at 130 pounds and Jacob Szudera at 135 pounds are both ranked second in their respective weight classes.
Szudera was propelled to the top of his weight class after winning the individual title at the Central A divisional held at Havre last weekend.
He won by injury default over Jeff Harrison of Dillon.
Holt won an individual title with an 8-5 decision over Kris Lookhart of Livingston. He captured his 100th victory last weekend.
Cody Hanson at 140 pounds and K.P. Fisher at 160 pounds are ranked third in the division.
Hanson won a 4-3 decision over Paul White of Browning to claim the individual title.
Fisher won an 11-4 decision over Jesse Stovall of Belgrade. Fisher also captured the top individual crown with the win.
Nick Newell is ranked fourth at 105 pounds.
Newell, who has more than 100 victories, won by pin in 4:40 over Dillon's Jason Parke last weekend to capture the individual title.
Aaron Jensen at 145 pounds and Willie Hulett at 171 pounds are ranked fifth in the poll.
Jensen lost by pin in 1:29 at the divisional meet and finished in second place.
Hulett withdrew in the championship final due to an injury.
Chad Hedges (119) and Chad Maney (125) are ranked sixth.
Hedges placed third at divisional with a pin over Josh Carter of Livingston in 2:37.
Maney won a 10-7 decision over Casey McDonald of Browning for a third-place finish.
