With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, only three things appear perfectly clear.
The KG KouGars are No. 1 with a perfect 13-0 conference record and 15-1 overall record.
The KouGars will play two non-conference games to close the season when they face Geraldine on Thursday and Sunburst on Saturday.
KG won the first time around 59-47 over Geraldine and 56-41 over Sunburst.
Turner is No. 7 in the district with an 0-13 conference record and 1-16 overall record. The Tornadoes defeated the KG junior varsity in the second game of the year for the win.
The Tornadoes will face Rocky Boy to close out the season on Friday.
The Big Sandy Pioneers are 0-13 in the conference and 1-16 overall.
The Pioneers defeated Dodson in non-conference play three weeks ago to collect their first win of the season.
The rest of the picture appears somewhat murky.
The most clear picture in the middle of the pack is Box Elder, who is 6-7 in conference play and 8-9 overall.
The Bears have just Big Sandy to get past on Thursday and could end with an even record entering the district tournament.
Hays/Lodgepole is No. 1 at 9-4, 11-6. The Thunderbirds have just one game (Whitewater) remaining.
The Penguins won the first game with a 79-75 double-overtime score, but with the game at Hays this time, the ending could be different.
Rocky Boy (7-5, 8-8) has been up and down this season. They play Turner and seventh-ranked Highwood in non-conference action to close the regular season.
The Blue Sky Eagles could be one of the most potent teams at this time. The Eagles, though ranked fourth right now, have won six straight games, and face non-conference J-I on Saturday.
J-I forfeited the last matchup.
