CHARLOTTE, N.C. Besse Tefakis, 64, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000 at the residence of her daughter in Charlotte, N.C.
Trisagion will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Charlotte, N.C. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cathedral with the Rev. Steve Dalber and the Rev. Tommy Vlahos officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Tefakis was born April 12, 1935, in Oakland, Calif.
She married Nicholas Tefakis, Sr.
She retired from Watch What Develops, Inc., where she was vice-president.
Survivors include her husband, Nicholas Tefakis, Sr., of Bradenton, Fla.; a daughter, Kellie Karavokiros of Charlotte, N.C.; sons, Mark Tefakis of Holt, Mich., and Nicholas Tefakis, Jr., of Youngtown, Ohio.
Memorials are suggested to St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 5108 Kuykendall Rd., Charlotte, N.C. 28270, or to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 E. 7th St., Charlotte, N.C. 28204.
