The Havre-Hill County Library will be closed Friday while its staff attends mandatory training.
The Montana Library Association requires continuing education for library staff to be certified.
The library will reopen Saturday with regular hours, noon to 5 p.m.
The library will also be closed from 1:30 to 3:30 Monday afternoon to allow the staff to attend Barbara VanDePete's funeral. VanDePete had worked in Havre libraries for years, starting with the Northern Montana College Library in 1963 and volunteered her time to the Hill County and later the Havre-Hill County library from 1992 on.
