Martha M. Hinebauch, 91, died May 12, 2000 at a Havre hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Sixth Avenue Christian Church with burial following in Highland Cemetery.
Hinebauch was born to Frank and Annie (Gross) Miller in
Hallowell Township, Ontario, Canada on Nov. 20, 1908. She attended school near East End, Saskatchewan, and married Walter E. Hinebauch on Dec. 31, 1924 in East End. They lived in Canada until moving to Montana on New Year's Eve 1944.
The Hinebauchs lived in Chinook the winter of 1945, then moved to the farm north of Havre near the Cottonwood Community.
They farmed there until retiring in 1969.
The couple spent 18 years wintering in Mesa, Ariz.
Hinebauch enjoyed the farm life, loved to visit with family and friends, and was a "wonderful cook."
She was preceded in death by one son, Roy Calvin Hinebauch, her husband, Walter Hinebauch in 1987, her parents, two sisters, one granddaughter and two great-grandsons.
Survivors include two sons, Walter of Glendive and William "Bill" of Havre; four daughters, Gladys Klundt and Velma Stuber, both of Havre, Dorothy Nelubowich of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Linda Hinebauch of St. Louis, Mo.; 22 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Church Building Fund or one's choice.
