A home known for its unique exterior and bright interior is the Dave Clausen home at 210 W. 14 St. in Havre.
Clausen built the home just over two years ago and created the home with the thought of light foremost in his mind.
"It's a nice bright home with lots of windows," Clausen said about his home.
Two upstairs bedrooms with a bath are separated from the other upstairs portion of the home that features a den.
The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a mission style or old Spanish style decor.
A unique wall texturing is also a feature Clausen believes makes the home unique and will be noticed by his visitors Sunday.
The kitchen features ceramic floors and an island with a stove in the center. Light is also a feature in the kitchen and perfectly accentuates the natural colored oak cabinets.
"The kitchen is also very roomy," Clausen said
Bathrooms and the home's entry way are the only areas of the house that also have ceramic floors with the remainder of the home being carpeted.
Visitors might also take note of the entry way chandelier and the cathedral ceiling in the living room of the home which also enhances the natural light that comes through the windows in the front of the home.
Mostly leather furniture in the living room also provides a warm yet masculine ambiance to the home. This is especially true hen Clausen lights the fire place during Havre's darker winter months.
The unique arrangement of the rooms and the roomy quality that is instantly noticeable are part of what appeals to Clausen.
