RUBY ADAMSEN
HELENA Ruby V. Adamsen, 81, of Helena, died Sunday, June 18, 2000 at her daughter's home in Dillon of natural causes.
Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Hagler-Anderson Mortuary in Helena. Church services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Covenant United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Mullette-Bauer officiating.
Adamsen was born Oct. 6, 1918 in Imperial, Saskatchewan, Canada to Orin A. and Jemima Crittenden. She attended school in Turner and graduated valedictorian of her class and attended Northern Montana College for one year.
She married Walter E. Adamsen Jan. 6, 1938. She worked as a cook at a Havre hospital for 30 years
Upon retirement in 1979, the couple moved to Helena.
Adamsen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; son, Dale; brother, Roland Crittenden; and sister, Olive Gilmour.
Survivors include her daughters, Patsy Dorland of Dillon, Sharon Wyatt of Modesto, Calif., Linda Adamsen of Great Falls; three sons, Malcolm Adamsen of Cheyenne, Wyo., Roy Adamsen of San Antonio, Texas, and Floyd Adamsen of Chandler, Ariz.; brother, Art Crittenden of Oxford, Miss.; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Covenant United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2330 Broadway, Helena, MT 59601.
