HELEN FRANK
Helen I. Frank, 71, Havre, died Wednesday, June 28, 2000 at a Havre hospital of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel.
Helen Irene Stevens Frank was born to Elizabeth and Chauncey Stevens on Jan. 22, 1929 in High River, Alberta, Canada.
She met Henry Edward Frank in Havre and they were married in High River on Oct. 1, 1952. They made their home in Havre.
In the late 1950s, the family moved to Blackie, Alberta to farm. After a few years, they returned to Havre.
Frank was an accomplished seamstress and needle worker. She won many awards at Hill County Fair before her eye sight failed. She also enjoyed gardening and canning.
Frank was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include her brother, Alvin Stevens of High River; two sons, Tom Frank of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Ken Frank of Havre; numerous nieces and nephews in both Canada and the United States.
Memorials may be made to the North Central Senior Citizens Center in Havre.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
