RUDOLPH STENSRUD
CHINOOK Rudolph Stensrud, 86, died Monday, July 3, 2000 at a Chinook nursing home of natural causes.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Holland & Bonine Chapel in Havre. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Stensrud was born Jan. 26, 1914 to Anton and Evelyn Stensrud north of Chinook. A lifetime resident of north Chinook, Stensrud, a farmer and rancher, worked the family farm until moving to Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in the early 1990s. He never married.
Stensrud was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eddie and Clarence; two sisters, Mary and Esther.
Survivors include his nieces, Darlene Sharp of Valleyford, Wash. and Marlene Malone of Spokane, Wash.; one nephew, Larry Powell of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; one great-niece, Emily Mary Sharp of Valleyford, Wash.
Memorials may be made to the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
