The Havre Northstars swept the Malta Mustangs in a doubleheader Tuesday afternoon in front of the home fans at Legion Field.
The Northstars were led offensively by David Heberly. In the two games, Heberly went 5-for-6 and brought home three runs.
In game one, Northstars' pitcher Dan Danielson scattered five hits over five innings and struck out three batters to shutout the Mustangs, 10-0.
At the bat, the Northstars had 11 hits with all but one Northstar getting a hit, led by Heberly, Jordan Anderson and Jared Boyce all going 2-for-3 to lift the Northstars to the 10-run victory in five innings.
In game two, the Malta Mustangs scored the first run of the game, but the Northstars scored the last.
Anderson, Garrett Hanson, and C.J. Reichelt had two hits apiece in the game, but the Northstars were led by Heberly, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
Pitcher Kyle Sheppard gave up two runs on seven hits and struck out four in the 12-2 win.
The Northstars' next game will be Wednesday at Fort MacLeod.
