DOROTHY WILLIAMS
BIG SANDY Dorothy May Williams, 92, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000 at a Big Sandy medical center of natural causes.
Funeral service will be in Albany, Ore. at the Twin Oaks Mausoleum.
Williams was born May 19, 1908 to Wesly Earl and Demma Miller near Silver Lake, Kansas.
She married Howard E. Williams in Topeka, Kansas on March 22, 1928. They moved to Montana in 1936, then to Lebanon, Ore., in 1951.
Williams and her husband were active in church and mission field work.
He died in 1979.
She lived the past few years in Big Sandy with her daughter, Sharlene.
Williams was preceded in death by her husband; parents, and a sister, brother and grandson.
Survivors include her sons, Marlin Williams of Sweet Home, Ore., Mahlon Williams of Lebanon, Ore.; daughters, Sharlene Harris of Big Sandy and Cleota Calvert of Woodstock, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
Benton Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
