KATHLEEN GALLOWAY
Kathleen Galloway, 86, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000 at a Havre care center of cancer.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Galloway was born Kathleen East on July 6, 1914 in Craford County, Ind. She moved with her family to Terre Haute, Ind. when she was 9. She attended schools there, then attended beauty college.
She married Charles Galloway Feb. 9, 1933. She worked at Union Hospital and National Bakery.
In 1943, the Galloways moved to Winton, Wyo. where she and her husband ran a cookhouse for Mountain Fuel. They later moved to Butte, then to Anaconda, where she worked at Galen and Warm Springs. She retired from Warm Springs in 1976. The couple lived in Opportunity until moving to Havre in 1989.
Galloway enjoyed reading, playing piano, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles on Sept. 5, 2000; two brothers, and a sister.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen Williamson of Havre and Jean Welsh of Rock Springs, Wyo.; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
O'Connor Funeral Home of Great Falls is in charge of arrangements.
