LLOYD HOVEE
CHEYENNE, Wyo. Lloyd N. Hovee, 86, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000 at a Cheyenne medical center.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cheyenne with Pastor Roger W. Rapp officiating.
Hovee was born in Inverness June 12, 1914. He married Jean McNeil in Havre on Nov. 24, 1938.
Hovee was served in the Navy during World War II and was a lieutenant in the Naval Reserve.
He was a past president of the Lion's Club of Sheridan and a member of the University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club, Cheyenne Quarterback Club and State Employee Retiree Group.
Hovee was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Hovee and Stanley Hovee, and his sister, Agnes Hovee.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Hovee of Cheyenne, and brother, Walter E. Hovee of Great Falls.
