JOPLIN The Big Sandy Pioneers easily defeats the Joplin-Inverness Rams Thursday night, 74-21.
Big Sandy stormed out scoring 25 first-quarter points. Kristy Upham led the scoring rampage for the Big Sandy girls with 22 points. She was followed by Sheena Darlington with 11 points and Katherine Bitz with 10 points.
Leading the scoring for the J-I was Cari Fusk with seven points.
