A Havre jury found Keith Warren Longhorn, 39, of Newall, Okla., guilty Sept. 26 of having sex with an 8-year-old girl in Havre in August 1992.
The two-day trial ended with the verdict coming shortly before 5 p.m. the second day.
Judge John Warner ordered Longhorn a psycho sexual evaluation and presentence investigation.
Sentencing was set for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Longhorn faces between 2 and 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000 plus a $20 surcharge.
