The Bullhook Bottoms Barbershop Chorus will bring its melodic harmonies together on the stage of the Havre High School auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 4 when it performs "Been Where? Done What?"
The Chorus will also perform the show on Friday, Nov. 3, in the Chinook High School auditorium. Both shows will begin at 8:03 p.m.
This year's show was written by Doug Safely, Bob Nieuwenhuyse, Leo Beardsley and Kevin Campbell for what Beardsley describes as a tribute to the Chorus's 10th anniversary.
"However, any resemblance between the script and the actual performance will be purely accidental," Beardsley said.
Also performing at this year's show will be BRASS a comedy quartet from Calgary that has delighted audiences in Chinook and Havre during previous appearances.
The second half of the show will feature the Montana Millennium Chorus. This special group of barbershoppers is composed of 55 members from choruses all around the state of Montana, including several from the Havre chorus.
The Millennium Chorus was formed to help celebrate the turn of the century and has been performing in shows presented throughout the state.
It presents a rich barbershop sound that is not often heard in smaller communities.
A lot of preparation goes into providing a delightful and humorous evening of family entertainment, Beardsley said.
Proceeds from the annual show will again be used to help finance the Heartspring School for Speech Impaired Children and "Keep America Singing" a program to promote music education in the schools.
Local charities and projects also receive help from ticket sales to the show.
Tickets for the show are $7 for adults and $5 for students ages 12-22. A family ticket can be purchased for $15.
Tickets are available at Mel's Auto Repair in Chinook and Master Sports and Havre Optometric Clinic in Havre. Tickets also will be available at the door.
