ROGER ECKBERG
Roger William Eckberg, 70, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000 at his residence of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Eckberg was born May 19, 1930 at Sugar Bush, Minn. to Oscar and Agnes (Nasset) Eckberg. His family later moved to Superior, Wis., where he graduated from high school in 1948.
Eckberg later hired on with the Great Northern Railroad.
He married Marjorie Fouts on July 25, 1953 in Havre.
Eckberg's employment required him to move from Minnesota to Nashua and finally to Havre in 1960, where he remained after his retirement.
Eckberg's hobbies included fishing, being on the Shrine Board, playing with his grandchildren, and spending time with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie in 1992, and his parents, Oscar and Agnes.
Survivors include his son, Rodney Eckberg of Bozeman; daughters, Ronda Logan of Havre and Raydeen Eckberg of Diamond Bar, Calif.; four grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
