Renee Lanoue of Ren's Rescue Animal Shelter said that she's like to thank everyone for their support during the Adopt-A-Thon held last Saturday.
"We had a wonderful turnout," Lanoue said
. With 11 total cat and dog adoptions, along with several prospective matches, the Adopt-A-Thon was hailed a success by all who participated.
Lanoue said that with help from local media sources, as well as local businesses and word-of-mouth advertising, the Adopt-A-Thon received a lot of traffic, even despite the cold weather. Lanoue said that she plans on having another adoption in the near future.
P.A.W.S., the Havre City Pound, Kitty Keepers, the Dedman Foundation, Ren's Rescue and private rescuer Christine Huston participated in the adoption, which took place at the National Guard Armory.
