ALBERTA JONES
SAN ANTONIO Alberta Jones, 65, died of heart failure on Friday, Dec. 15, 2000.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. at the St. Jude Catholic Church in Havre on Jan. 10, 2001. Cremation will take place.
Jones was born in Havre on Dec. 29. 1934. She graduated from Havre Central High School.
She worked as a civil servant for the military while her husband was stationed in Alaska and Michigan. When she moved back to Montana she worked in the accouting department at Carl Weissman and Sons for several years.
After her divorce, Jones moved to Oregon and worked as a caregiver for the elderly.
Some of Jones favorite things were her grandchildren, quilting, reading and watching nature.
She is survived by her sons, Phil Jones of San Antonio and Mike Jones of Kearns, Utah; brothers Joe Perszyk of Havre and Lawrence Perszyk of Redlands, Calif.; sisters Julianne Ruby of Great Falls and Therese Leach of Woodburn, Ore., six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a person's choice in her honor.
