EMILIO ROMERO

BREMERTON, Wash. Emilio "JoJo" Romero, 46, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000 in Bremerton, Wash.

Rosary was Jan. 4 at Fort Belknap Sacred Heart Catholic Church with memorial services there on Jan. 5. Cremation has taken place.

Romero was born Nov. 20, 1954 in Butte to Emilio Joe and Ruby Azure-Romero.

Romero enjoyed listening to music. He played the harmonica and drums well. He enjoyed meeting people and traveled to other countries, such as Haiti and Jamaica.

He had a special eye for antiques and had a gift for bartering.

He was preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Lee Romero; aunt, Anna Fetter; cousins, Tony Fetter, JoAnne Bell St. Martin and Lola Romero.

Survivors include his daughters, Josie and Rebecca, both of Washington state; brother, Fred Romero of Washington; sisters, Hedy Westburg of Helena, Karen Romero-Snell, Lorraine Herrera, both of Billings, and Kim Parenteau of Washington; aunts and uncles, Pearl Swan of Havre, Iona and Chuck Schilling of Harlem, Gordon and Ann Azure of Harlem, Alan and Peggy Azure of Helena, Bob and Mona Azure of Butte and Frank Azure Jr. of Hardin; numerous nieces and nephews.
