VIOLET O'DONNELL
Violet "Vi" Loretta O'Donnell, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 20,
2001 at a Havre hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Holland and
Bonine Funeral Chapel with Ila McClenahan officiating.
Burial is to follow at the Highland Cemetery. Refreshments
will follow at the North Central Senior Citizens Center.
O'Donnell was born March 19, 1913 in Havre to Frank and
Myrtle (Butts) Bunton. She attended school in Simpson.
On July 3, 1932, she married Don O'Donnell in Harlem. She
worked in various cafes and senior citizen centers.
O'Donnell enjoyed reading, quilting, crocheting and playing
bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don O'Donnell;
three sons; two stepsons; three brothers; four sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Darleen Mayer of Havre and
Donna Draper of Grand Prairie, Texas; sons, Ray O'Donnell of
Beaverton, Ore. and Edward O'Donnell of Havre; sister,
Arlene Blossom of Port Angeles, Wash.; 19 grandchildren;
numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; numerous
nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be given to the North Central Senior Citizens
Center, 2 West Second St., Havre, MT 59501.
