KENNETH KNUTSON
Kenneth LeRoy Knutson, 89, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at a
Havre hospital of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 1 p.m.
Wednesday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home with a
reception to follow at the Eagles Manor. Private interment
of ashes will take place prior to the service.
Knutson was born Aug. 27, 1911 to Anton and Helga Knutson
and was raised in Kremlin.
He married Frances Wise on July 24, 1939 and they moved
north of Gildford to start a farm. They lived on the farm
for many years, then moved to Gildford.
After retiring from farming, they spent many winters
enjoying the warm weather in Phoenix. In April 2000, they
moved to the Eagles Manor.
Knutson enjoyed golfing, fishing and taking care of the
Gildford Park, his pride and joy.
He also enjoyed socializing with friends and family.
Knutson was preceded in death by his parents; brothers,
Cliff and Stan; sister, Irene Donoven.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Knutson of Havre; sons,
Ron Knutson of Havre and Rick Knutson of Bozeman;
grandchildren, Jacinte Knutson of Phoenix, and Nathan
Knutson and Jacob Knutson, both of Bozeman.
Memorials may be made to Gildford Park, c/o Rick Knutson,
111 Henderson St., Bozeman, MT 59715.
