MARGARET BENDELE
SAN BRUNO, Calif. Margaret "Muggs" Bendele, 76, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001 in San Mateo County of natural causes.
Services were held in California.
Bendele was born to Henry and Dolly Golden in Havre. She was raised and educated in Havre.
She was a former owner of City Roofing Company in the San Francisco area.
Bendele was a long-time supporter and contributor to the handicapped, Special Olympics and special needs program of San Mateo County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert John Bendele, Sr., sister, Betty Burlin; brothers, Henry "Red," Ralph, Charles "Shorty" and Donald "Blondie" Golden.
Survivors include her children, Beth Gianassi, Robert Bendele, Jr., Deborah Beem; sister, Apple Brown of Havre; brother, William "Bud" Golden of Havre; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
