GLENDIVE Donald "Bus" Logan McCrory, 87, Glendive, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001 at his home in Glendive.

Family services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the Chapel of the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive, with Pastor Paul Everett officiating. Interment will be in the Hill County Cemetery in Havre at a later date.

McCrory was born on Nov. 30, 1913 in Williston, N.D. to William L. and Maude Lorene (Ott) McCrory. He was raised and educated in Williston and graduated from Williston High School in 1932.

He moved to Great Falls where he married Geneva Robbins on Dec. 7, 1937. They lived in Great Falls, Williston, N.D. and Havre, where McCrory worked for Grogan Robinson Lumber Company. He became manager of the store in Williston in 1938 and managed the store until 1958. They then moved to Havre and he managed the Havre store until he retired in 1980 after 45 years of service.

While living in Williston, McCrory was chief of the Volunteer Fire Department.

After his retirement, the McCrorys lived in Cody, Wyo. before moving to Glendive in 1999 to be near their family.

McCrory enjoyed hunting and fishing.

McCrory is survived by his wife, Geneva McCrory of Glendive; daughters, Rita Hval of Fargo, N.D., Georgina Hansen of Glendive, and Mary Lou Livesay of Libby; brother, Lee McCrory of Vancouver, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
