JAMES MAYER
WILLOWS, Calif. James Mayer, 82, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001 at his home in Willows after a long illness.
Private services were planned for a later date.
Mayer was born June 10, 1918 in Havre to Jacob and Anna Mayer. He attended St. Jude School and Havre High School.
Mayer served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mark, Louis and Robert Mayer.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Mayer of Willows; son, Jack Mayer of Hamilton; daughters, Kathy Harmer and Patty Dominguez, both of Willows, and Pamela Field of Vallejo, Calif.; sister, Margaret Spitzer of Havre; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
