DORIS CROSSLER
Doris Norma Crossler, 74, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at her home in Havre of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Messiah Lutheran Church with Pastor Rodney Mruk officiating. Interment of the cremated remains is to follow at Highland Cemetery.
A reception will follow burial at the Vineyard Room of the Duck Inn.
Crossler was born July 25, 1926 in Aurora, Minn. to John and Mattie (Martinsdale) Graham. She attended Aurora Elementary and graduated from Aurora High School.
On March 5, 1945, she married Leo Crossler in Aurora, Minn. They bought a business in Townsend and lived there for 13 years. They sold the business in 1988 and moved to Havre.
Crossler was a 52-year member of the VFW Auxiliary, a 57-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a Double Goldstar Sister.
She enjoyed reading, garage sale-ing with her granddaughters, fishing and being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Crossler.
Survivors include her son, Gary J. Crossler of Havre; stepsons, Jim Crossler of Yuma, Ariz. and Jack Crossler of Buckley, Wash.; sister, Nan Rae Graham of Fridley, Minn.; two grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five great-stepgrandchildren.
