The drama students at Big Sandy High School have been busy for the last few months, resulting in two different plays produced back-to-back.
"See How They Run" was produced Feb. 16-17 and "U.T.B.U." was on Feb. 23-24 at the high school. The shows were directed by Judy Williams and Wendy Kleinsasser.
"It's been a little crazy, but we've pulled it off somehow," said Brian Johnsrud, a senior at the school and participant in the plays.
"It's been a lot of fun," senior Carmen Sibra said. "It went pretty well for us."
Sibra said the sets for the two plays were pretty similar, so they just altered the first to use for the second. They had two sets of practices going every day, he said.
Johnsrud said they did the two different plays in an attempt to raise money to buy a new light board for the school.
"The lighting system in this auditorium is really on its last legs," he said.
He said the community strongly supports the schools and the activities its students are in.
The drama department at Flathead High School even got into the process, coming and doing a play and donating the proceeds to the project earlier this school year.
