JANET SORENSON

KREMLIN Janet Sorenson, 83, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Lake Havasu City, Ariz., of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place.

Sorenson was born June 17, 1917 at Poplar to Charles and Isabelle Petrie. In 1925, the family moved to Kremlin. She attended schools in Poplar, Kremlin and Havre.

She married Arnold "Red" Sorenson Jan. 19, 1935 in Havre. They made their home south of Kremlin.

Sorenson was a member of the Kremlin Lutheran Church and the Montana Flying Farmers.

She spent winters in Arizona with her husband and retired there three years ago.

Sorenson was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Sorenson of Kremlin; daughters, Sandra Sorenson of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Sonya Sorenson of Desert Aire, Wash.; son, Arnie Sorenson of Kremlin; sister, Harriet Stenwick of Poulsbo, Wash.; brother, Jack Petrie of Everett, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
