The mill levy proposals for KG Schools was decided Friday, after the results of bills affecting funding passed by the 2001 Legislature were analyzed.
KG Schools has proposed a general fund mill levy for the high school, which would increase local property taxes by $114,532, approximately 26.58 mills. Incumbent Dave Stevenson is running unopposed for his trustee position.
At the Rocky Boy Schools, Joseph LaFromboise Jr., Roger St. Pierre, Paul F. Russette Jr., Alice J. Russette, Roger Decora and Warren Small are running for the one three-year trustee position in this year's election. Dorothy Small, Debbie St. Pierre, Russell T. Gopher, Michael Lame Bull, Claudette Oats and Pete Demontiney are running for the one-year trustee position.
No issues are on the ballot for the Gildford Colony School.
