ELIZABETH KOHLMAN, Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Kohlman, 80, died Monday, April 23, 2001 at a Havre hospital of natural causes.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the First Lutheran Church with

Pastor Ron Paulson officiating. Burial is to follow at Highland Cemetery with fellowship to follow at the First Lutheran Church.

Kohlman was born May 14,1920 to John and Jane

(Scott) Gray at Tedworth, England. She attended schools in England.

She came to Montana as a war bride and married Ruben W. Kohlman in Glendive on Jan. 17, 1948. After the wedding, they moved to Havre where he had a job with the state of Montana.

She worked at Devlin School and St. Jude Headstart in the lunch program. She was a volunteer for the Havre-Hill County Library and sold Avon for years.

Kohlman was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Kohlman; daughter, Jane Yvonne, and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Klobofski and Karen Bender of Havre; sister, Jean Wells of Essex, England; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
