LOVELAND, Colo. Daniel Calvin Chevalier, age 69, of Loveland, Colo., died Sunday, April 29, 2001 at a Loveland medical center.
Chevalier was born Jan. 20, 1932 in Havre to Adlor and Matilda Chevalier.
Chevalier lived in Havre until 1960 when he moved with his mother to Spokane, Wash. There they cared for his maternal grandfather who was 102.
Chevalier attended many special schools during his life and brought much happiness to many who came into his life.
He and his mother moved to Ft. Collins in 1993 due to her failing health at age 100. He attended Foothills Gateway and lived in host homes of Norm and Julie McDonald and Laura Austin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and many aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his brother, Daryl Chevalier of Ft. Collins; sister,
Ione Larson of Fargo, N.D.; several nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish at in Ft. Collins. Memorials may be made to Foothills Gateway Rehabilitation Center, 301 Skyway Dr., Ft. Collins, CO 80525.
