Mary J. Filicetti, 82, died Thursday, May 17, 2001 at her home in Havre of natural causes.
Prayer vigil will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Jude Catholic Church. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Grosch officiating. Burial will be at Calvary
Cemetery. Reception will follow burial at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Filicetti was born June 3, 1918 to Frank and Christina (Madaglia) Filicetti in Havre. She attended St. Jude's Catholic Grade School and Havre High School. She graduated from Havre High in 1936.
Filicetti worked at F.W. Woolworth store in Havre and Havre Jobbing. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Great Northern Railroad for 31 years and then the Burlington Northern Railroad. She retired in 1983.
Filicetti was active in St. Jude Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Altar Society and was a volunteer at Northern Montana Hospital for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include her sister, Antoinette "Toni" Guerra of Havre; brother, Sam Filicetti of Sun City, Ariz.; brother-in-law John Deady of Havre; two nephews and a niece.
Memorials may be made to a donor's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
