Becky Wimmer, sales associate at McKay Real Estate in Havre, recently found a new way to help area residents interested in buying or selling a home.
Using the Talking House® Transmitter, Wimmer is able to record a message and information about a house onto a small radio transmitting device inside the residence. The recorded message is then played continuously throughout the day and transmitted from the device to passing motorists through their car radio. In order to hear the message, the motorist must tune to the radio frequency posted on the sign outside the house.
The Talking House® offers prospective buyers instant essential information about the home, without the hassle of setting up an appointment for a walk-through with an agent. The Talking House® system allows sellers to post information up front to potential purchasers, and helps to eliminate disqualified buyers.
Wimmer said that since she began using The Talking House® system in March, she has had a number of positive responses. "I've had a lot of good comments on it," she said, adding that the system benefits both the buyer and the seller.
"It gives more exposure to the seller," Wimmer said, noting that the system itself is not intrusive to sellers. Wimmer added that buyers enjoy the ease and speed of learning about a home without having to make a lot of phone calls.
"If you haven't stopped and listened to one, please do," Wimmer said. For more information on The Talking House® system and how it can work for you, contact Becky Wimmer at McKay Real Estate, 265-3105.
