Our view
By HDN Editorial Board
Some changes are taking place on the news pages of the Havre Daily News, and we want to involve you in the process.
We're looking at ways to make the newspaper more interesting to you, our readers.
Our job is to tell the stories of our town and our region, and to provide you with other useful information that can help improve the quality of your life or entertain you.
We already have some plans to improve our coverage, like regular stories about how the ag producers in our area are dealing with the drought and more stories about local business. We want to consistently provide a strong lineup of local stories on the front page.
We want to become a more vital part of our community and a more vital part of your day.
To do that, we'd like to know more about what you expect from the Daily News. Are you interested in more national and international news? What issues or topics do you think we could do a better job of writing about? What you think is very important to us.
Our new managing editor, Karen Datko, wants to hear from you. You can reach her at 265-6795, ext. 21, preferably after 1 p.m.
