Havre native just misses qualifying for final round
CASPER, Wyo. Havre native Troy Solomon finished 16th overall in baseback riding at the College National Finals Rodeo that concluded Sunday.
Solomon finished with 200.5 points, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the event's final round, which takes the top nine riders after the first three rounds.
Clint Evers of Fort Scott Community College won the event with 306 points, including a score of 74.5 in the final round.
Solomon's teammate, Andy Bolich, finished 11th overall with a final score of 215.5.
